Xiaomi 11T Pro smart review: 16MP selfie camera, which is good enough for the price.

Xiaomi 11T Pro smart review

Today we review the Xiaomi 11T Pro, a premium smartphone that's packed with powerful hardware, with a strong focus on performance and fast 120W charging. Xiaomi is also marketing it as a camera-centric device, with a 108-megapixel primary camera and features such as 8K video recording. Let's take a closer look at this premium smartphone.

Xiaomi 11T Pro comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, 120W fast charging and 120Hz AMOLED display. Xiaomi 11T Pro price starts at Rs 39,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.

Xiaomi 11T Pro, along with the Hongmi Note 7 and Hongmi Note 7 Pro, are the first smartphones in India to come with a 120Hz AMOLED display. The display, combined with Xiaomi's graphics engine and 240Hz touch sampling rate, offers a gaming experience that we have rarely seen on an affordable smartphone.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro runs on Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box, combined with MIUI 10 skin on top. This is our first time using MIUI 10 on this device and we're impressed by what we've seen so far. For starters, MIUI 10 runs smoother than MIUI 9 on this device due to its light touch. The navigation works well and we haven't experienced any stuttering or lagging. The performance and responsiveness of the device is excellent, even with its 120Hz AMOLED display.

Xiaomi 11T Pro has a dual rear camera setup with 12MP main sensor and an 8MP wide-angle lens, along with a 5MP depth sensing camera. The duo allows you to capture surreal images such as night sky images, bokeh effects, flower shots, miniature objects in macro mode, super wide-angle shots (up to 95 degrees), etc. This feature is exclusive to the Mi Mix 3S but the 6-axis OIS for the main sensor saves you from shaky footage caused by your hand movement.

The front of the Xiaomi 11T Pro has a 16MP selfie camera, which is good enough for the price.

Xiaomi has also added a bunch of features for the camera. For example, you can take photos in RAW and DNG format, along with manual control options that let you fine-tune your photo output. You can also shoot 8K videos at 30fps and 4K videos at 120fps, slow motion videos with 240fps, add editing effects such as slo-mo and fast forward while recording video.

The biggest highlight of this smartphone is its 120Hz AMOLED display. The responsiveness of the display is excellent and so are its viewing angles.
